Yun Ha Byun

I have professionally trained in piano performance by numerous worldly renowned pianists / musicians, and I have more than 10 years of teaching experience in Piano. Most of my students were in advanced level and I was helping them preparing auditions / competitions / concerts. But I also taught beginners, both children and adults.

It is very important for teachers to help students not to have wrong habits, and to teach various techniques that students can re-apply later by themselves. In that sense, I strongly believe that years of educational training from the top tiers along with my disciplined and dedicated personality would make a valuable contribution to your study.

I require students consistency and dedication. Consistent practice is the key to musical growth. It is expected that students will practice daily. Lesson assignments are not suggestions; they need to be completed for your teacher to help you/your child do one’s best.

For very young children, I recommend to have 30 minute lesson instead of 60 minutes. And the lessons will be taught at my place with Essex grand, and in English.

All of my students will have a performance opportunity in a students concert at least once a year.
